7 Sensation wins for the seniors over the last 2 weekends have put all teams with a great chance of playing finals cricket this year.
It was set-up last weekend with the 1st's securing a 1st innings win over St Johns Tecoma on Day 1. The boys bowled well to dismiss St Johns for just 78, with the sublime Travis Mulder taking 5/15 from 10 overs. Adam Wild 3/25 and Simon Grasser 2/22 took the remaining wickets in a clinical performance. The boys were 4/92 overnight having locked away 1st innings points. Day 2 saw the team get to 9d/167 with Jeremy Mackinnon scoring 39, Jarrod Butcher 22 and Adam Wild 26 being the major contributors. At 3/29 in the 2nd Innings and outright victory looked a chance, however consolidation from St Johns saw them get to 6/113 before play was abandoned. Adam Wild took 2/25.
In the Round 3 catch up game last Sunday vs Knoxfield the 1sts restricted the opposition to 9/134 from their 45 overs, Adam Wild again the pick of the bowlers with 4/14. Mark Dalton was frugal with 2/12 from 7 and Adam Metherell took 2/36. Wayne McInerney led the side with the bat with a well compiled 40, and 21* from Jeremy Mackinnon and 20* from Adam Metherell allowed the side to win the game with an over to spare with 5 wickets in hand.
The 2's had a massive weekend scoring 682 runs in the 2 days. On the Saturday game the side compiled 7/330 with Ben McLean scoring a sensational 100 and Mitch Gregory falling just 1 run short on 99. Adrian Zandt fired off a quick 34 and Dylan Wylde looked good with 39*. A fine performance from the bowlers and fielders saw an outright victory achieved with Knox making 79 & 71. 1st Innings highlights were Adam Metherell 3/22, Ross Dancey 2/11, Matt van Lith 2/12 and Ryan Lepore 2/16. In reply Auravale were dismissed for just 102 with Ryan Lepore taking 3/15, Matt van Lith 2/12 and Ross Dancey 2/20.

With outright victory in their minds, the 3's ripped through Belgrave's 1st innings in less than 20 overs with Blake Lines achieving his best ever haul of 7/18. With 60 overs to play they were put back in and finished the day on 9/173, 1 wicket short of outright victory.
