It is with great pleasure that we can announce the leadership for the club in 2010/2011 season. The team will be Jeremy MacKinnon as Senior Club Coach and Adam Wild as 1st XI Captain. I've had the please of working with these guys & others over the
last few weeks and it's tremendous to see the enthusiasm & ideas
they have to take the club in the right direction.
At this point we would like to thank Chris Amos who lead us to a successful 2008/2009 season with 3 senior flags, Chris's efforts were fantastic at training and on match day and have put a standard in place for the club to maintain. We should also thank Rhys Marget for his efforts in the last 2 seasons as 1st XI captain, the highlight a premiership in Deciote Shield, he will continue to play with the club and no doubt be part of the 1st XI makeup.
In recent weeks the club's AGM was held and a new committee was elected, it consists of the following members:
President: Rob Cottle
Vice President: Peter Webb
Secretary: Simon Wilkinson
Treasurer: Rhys Thomas
Cricket Operations Manager: Aaron Bailey
Junior Administrator: To Be Filled
Milo In2Cricket: To Be Filled
General Committee: Barry Wild, Daine Vernon, Ben McLean, Travis Mulder, Simon Taylor
Thanks to Simon Wilkinson, Travis Mulder and Barry Wild for joining the committee for 2010/11 and to the remainder for continuing on.
Jeremy Mackinnon, Adam Wild and Aaron Bailey will be working together to appoint the appropriate junior coaches and Senior grade captains as the season approaches.
Theres also a project running to get a new shed build to house the bowling machine and equipment down at the nets, currently we are seeking funding from the council.
Finally as pre-season approaches, i have the pleasure of announcing that pre-season is further away! This season we will begin our training sessions at Maddocks on August 18th, where we'll be jumping straight into the batting and bowling.
