This weekend we play Heatherdale in a practice match, for those not aware, club clown Jarrod Thorp is playing for Heatherdale this year and will be playing in the practice match. The game will be played at Heatherdales ground (see map below), the game starts at 12pm so get there at 11:15. It will be a practice game atmosphere, so plenty of batsman will get a hit, and the bowlers will all get a bowl.
Also we need to uncover the pitch on the #2 oval on Sunday morning, help us out from 9.30am and then make your way to the practice game. It should take less than 1 hr with enough people, the 1st XI may be playing a practice match there in 1 weeks time. Bring a spade or shovel, it's not a pleasant job, but many hands make light work for everyone. If you've got soft hands like me then bring gloves too.
