Cannons – Dylan Wylde
Fan-favourite Dylan Wylde will be taking the reins of the
Cannons this season, superseding his brother Josh who last year led the
franchise to an unlikely berth in the big dance. Well-renowned for his
impressive off-field performances, we can only assume he will be lighting the
Cannons’ fuse with his humorous and detailed pre-game tales, while
simultaneously passing on some invaluable knowledge to his younger teammates. On
the field, Dyl will be looking to lead from the front with his aggressive game
style, hard-hitting with willow in hand and a jet in the field. As the man in
charge, we are confident Dyl will have the Cannons firing deep into the
tournament.
Jets – Jack Marget
Jack Marget is the cream of the massive crop of young talent
at Knox Gardens and will have the opportunity to put his leadership skills on
display as he takes control of the Jets for KGBB02. After failing to qualify
for the inaugural Knox Gardens Big Bash final last year, the Jets will be
looking to bounce back in a big way and leave their mark on the comp with Jack
at the helm. Although unlikely to deliver any hair-raising speeches, this
tight-lipped young falcon will let his crisp batting do the talking as he leads
by example to get his squad of jets firing on all cylinders.
Beamers – Adam Wylde
Sibling rivalry is sure to be prevalent when the Beamers and
Cannons face off, as young Adam Wylde will be looking to tactically outwit his
brother while leading the Beamers into the heat of the battle this year.
Sporting a sharp new trim for the upcoming season, his hairstyle will be just
one of many areas in which Adam endeavours to set a high standard for his
teammates. Although quietly spoken, his cricketing ability speaks for itself
and paired with his determination, he will lead the way for the Beamers on the
field.
