The Knox Gardens Cricket Club is looking for a senior coach for
Season 2018/19. Playing or Non Playing, the successful candidate will have the
opportunity to lead and develop one of the most exciting lists in the FTGDCA.
Competitive remuneration for the right candidate. Level 2 or
desire to achieve preferable.

Key selection criteria:
• Played and/or coached at higher level
• Communication Skills - be capable of confident, clear and well directed
communication building a shared purpose amongst all players.
• Team Work - works cooperatively with players, coaches, supporters and
committee members towards the club’s common goals.
• Player Development - ability to work cooperatively with leaders to build on
the development of a young core playing group as well as more established cricketers.
• Sets direction for players towards a shared commitment.
• Develop and implement training programs that build player development and
result in strong on-field performances from all senior teams
• Develop the leadership and coaching skills of senior players
• Ability to coordinate on and off field cricket activities including preseason
training
• Respectful and inclusive in dealings with all club players, members and
supporters
• Reliable and committed

• Knox Gardens participates in the FTGDCA competition with four senior and 8
junior teams
• Our First XI plays in the Norm Reeves Shield, the premier grade of the
competition.
