Round 11 Team of the Week

Another round and we see some more excellent contributions by our players. Tough to pick again but here is the team:

Lachie Stuckey: Another 50 for the pencil but just can’t seem to convert those starts😫 Got the 2s off to a steady start in their run chase and hopefully the big score isn’t too far away.

Josh Gregory: 2nd Team of the week in a row for Boof with a solid contribution of 38 to help get the 1s a 2nd consecutive win.

Jarrod Butcher: The 1s skipper continued his red hot form by top scoring again with 57 to guide the team to the target of 244. Making a late run for the Rhys Marget medal perhaps...

Adam Wylde: The youngest Wylde is almost certainly the best with another crisp innings of 51 which also included an almost match winning partnership with one of his older brothers Dyl. I’m lost for words when he bats

Dylan Wylde: One of Adam's older brothers smashed his way to 87 before he needed 3 off the last ball to win a classic div 3 match against the panthers. Dyl is finding some form just at the right time

Scott Christiansen: Scotty was back in the runs in the 4s up at the Monbulk log cabin scoring 56 which helped his side get a nail biting draw to secure the 4s a third straight finals berth.

Spencer Stuckey: Yet another player with a return to form with young Spence back in the 4s making 42 and giving a little message to selectors to not rule him out for a 3rds finals berth.

Niraj de Silva: Just like Dyl Wylde, Nudge is finding a bit of form at the right part of the year making 43 and taking 3fa to give the 1s a glimmer of hope to sneak into the 4

Scott McInerney: In for his batting instead of the ball as he contributed a very handy 44* to get the 1s over the line after a little middle order collapse.

Mitch Potts: 3/32 for brother of Andrew after the 3s had somewhat of a bad day with the bat to give the boys a chance at a miraculous victory against the beavers but in the end failed. I hear Mitch is keen for finals.

Adam Metherell: One of the great photographers the club has ever had took another 3fa against the panthers to help bowl them out for 243. One of the favourites for Rhys Marget medal for sure.

12th Man
Drew Withers: Carrying the drinks this week is Mohammed Drewsouf much to his disappointment after taking 3/52. I think he will be more concerned about winning the div 3 bowling award though.
