Knox Gardens 30 year celebrations Season 2015/2016 marks the 30th year of the Knox Gardens Cricket Club To mark the occasion the club will be holding a gala event on Saturday 28th November to celebrate 30 fantastic years To celebrate the occasion the club will announce inaugural members of the Knox Gardens Hall of Fame, including the first Legends of the club. The night will also recognise members of the club over 30 years that have helped shape the club to what it has become. Specifically we will recognise non-life members who as players, committee and members who have been wonderful servants at our club. During the night we will reveal: - The Greatest games in the clubs History - Most notable Innings’ - Most notable bowling performances - Greatest Fielding team (In Position) We will also look back at the lighter moments in the clubs history and the characters that have made the club such a special place for so many of us Nominations are open for each category. Please send nominations to abailey@efl.org.au. We simply only need suggestions and names. If you would like to add achievements that would be helpful but not a pre requisite. Nominations to be in by September 1st Please see below the criteria for Hall of Fame, Legend and Outstanding Service awards. Please note that the Outstanding Service awards are for non-life members. Our Life members will be recognised separately on the night Hall Of Fame Criteria To be nominated for the clubs Hall of Fame you must meet the following - Player - Administrator - Long Term Service (May include but not exclusive to player, supporter, league delegate, coach, committee, support roles such as bar/canteen) This person will have shown the following characteristics - Sustained Excellence - Length of service/ Longevity at the club - Contribution to the growth and development of the club - Upholding of club values Legends A legend must meet all Hall of Fame Criteria. Additionally they must show the following characteristics - Significant contribution to the growth and development of the club - Administrator at Executive Level - Extraordinary service as a player/Committee member - Sustained on field Excellence Outstanding Service Will recognise significant contributions of non-life members This can include - Committee - Playing - Coaching - Supporter/Member
