The Knox Gardens juniors were well represented in the VMCU Carnival that ran from Jan 4 - 12 at grounds around Melbourne.
Knox Gardens had representatives in all grades except the Under 16 division.
Congratulations to all the boys who represented Knox Gardens so well in this competition.
A few highlights:
- Nixon Adcock was outstanding with the ball in the Under 12 Mitchell Shield team taking the most wickets for FTGDCA with 8; at an outstanding average 10.
- Callum Craigie had a great carnival with the bat making 115 runs at an average of 28. Callum made a great 39* against Yarra Valley.
- Zach Flintoff made the most runs for FTGDCA Under 14 team with 144, with a highest score of 65 against Southern Districts. Zach was 9th highest run scorer in the Under 14 competition.

Tess won a Milo competition to stand with the Australian players before the game and sing the National Anthem.
She told Peter Siddle to make a hundred....he laughed and said 'you know I'm a bowler!'
