Ross Dancey & Scott McInerney tied on 12 votes each in the inaugural Rhys Marget Medal Vote Count on Saturday night. Ross led from the start with a very consistent year he polled in 8 games out of 12, 4x2 votes and 4x1 vote and was great to see that a 1st year player can have such an impact. Scott McInerney polled 3x3 Votes in the 3rd XI and 1x2 Votes and 1x1 Vote in the 2nd XI, Scott is just 14 but has the potential to play 1st XI cricket for Knox Gardens whilst still playing juniors for us.
It was good to see that 76 players polled votes throughout the season, which means that almost everyone has made an impact in their captains eyes in at least 1 game they have played in.
The club would like to thank the Captains who diligently cast the votes and excluded themselves from their minds when deciding who had contributed on each match day.
Note that Votes in 1 day grades were divided by 2.
