| U/13 1's, U/15s and the 5ths will play Grand Finals this week. The 3rds missed out after being smashed by The Basin.
The U/13s lost just 2 wickets in their chase of 174. Ash Black 48*, Dylan Wilde 46* and Scott McInerny 40* led the way with the bat and Scott also took 3/21 with the ball. Best of luck to the boys as they take on EIldon Park Panthers this week in the Granny.
The U/15s defeated Eildon Park, also losing only 2 wickets. The Rob Howes show continued with another 51*, he and Ben Morello 51* set up the win with a great partnership. Jonathon Lim also made 37* in the total of 2/188 and the guys will be playing Johnson Park this week in their Grand Final.
The 3rds lost the toss and were never in the race, with 2 Basin players making 160 and 160* in an incredible total of 6/437. Luke Perryman stood tall with the ball taking 4/68 and taking a great catch in 2nd slip. Adam Metherall performed well in the field and took a great running catch. On day 2 there was some solid performances with the bat, Rhys Thomas gritted his teeth and made 39 and had a handy 86 run partnership with Ryan Lepore who also made 39. Zane Thomas also continued his consistent year with the bat, making 31. The 3's were bowled out for 199.
The 5ths steam rolled St Johns Tecoma in their semi final. No one can touch the batting of the 5ths, this round they scored just 1 run less than the previous game, also against St Johns. This time Simon Wilkinson 51*, David Hay 50*, Tristan Wilkinson 40, Michael Hoare 37, Dale Roper 31 and Gavin Harding plundered runs at will on the fast Llewellyn track. Simon Wilkinson also took 3/17, Scott Walker took some tap with 2/47 and Michael Hoare was frugal with 2/0. The 5ths will meet Footballers this weekend and there's sure to be a calypso feeling on the day.
