TEAM OF THE ROUND ROUND 12
Peter Dunlop - Seems to be a regular occurrence
that this man is in the TOTW. After a good fight back with the ball and a
double chance on the line, the skipper led the way with a crisp 103*, his first
for the club.
Ben Mclean - It seems that the secret to Bens
success this year is not training. Those words coming from the man himself, in
chase of a below par 140, he pulled his way to 64 to take his season total to
332 and take home the 4s batting award.
Jason Buljubasic - In tandem with Ben they put the
game to bed early putting on 110 for the first wicket before Jase was dismissed
for a swashbuckling 47.
Andrew Potts - A return to form for the former 3rd
XI captain, anchoring the innings with a hard hitting 49 before chopping on.
Matthew Bell - Combined with Pete beautifully,
scoring 59 of his own and sharing an unbeaten 160 run partnership to get the
side home.
Spencer Stuckey - Another regular in this side it
seems. The young gun continues to work his magic with the ball, this time
claiming 3/14 from 8 overs to help dismiss FTG for 109 and take his wicket
tally to 30 for the season.
Travis Mulder - A first for the fox this week
claiming a hat trick (the first of his career) and having the elite figures of
4/7 from 7! Whilst also chipping in with 21*
Josh Curnow - A great all-round performance from
Curn, firstly being tidy with the ball 2/24 and then almost getting the side
over the line with 29 before he was bowled and the game was tied.
Daine Vernon - Another solid performance from Daino
with figures of 2/22 really tying Rowville’s batsmen down in the middle overs
was a big factor in the 3s claiming the points and ending the year off in style.
Anthony Jongen - With the 3s defending a modest
150, nibby got them off to the perfect start removing the top 3 quickly and
more importantly their skipper who has haunted the 3rd XI in the past. A great
end to the year for nib finishing with 3/16 from his 8.
Andrew Gregor - The former bar manager and future
life member has been in a rich vein of form of late. This week it was Knox
City’s turn to face the heat of Gregor and he didn’t disappoint taking 3/30.
