New Club Coach & Chairman of Selectors

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Amos as new club coach. Chris is a Cricket Australia Accredited coach and as a player is a Premiership Captain Coach with Glenferrie Sharks in MCA and also a 1st X1 Premiership player. Chris also has played with several Clubs in their 1st X1’s in the BHRDCA (Box Hill Reporter league), is also a more than accomplished former Div 1 Soccer player who is extremely fit and knowledgeable. We believe that Chris will bring a new level of discipline and professionalism to the club as he is noted for his meticulous planning, communication and team development. Chris will publicly announce his support team plus all Captains at the meet the Coach Night along with some key player targets.

We would invite all Senior players and U/17 players and any U/15 players who hope to play Snr cricket PLUS all Life Members, past players and interested Parents to attend our Meet the Coach Night On Wed. 1st August @ the Clubrooms from 7.00pm refreshments to be served.

Chris will be detailing his plan for the year, explaining Pre-Season to the players and presenting his Coaching philosophy and seeking the support of all players.

The Club is also excited to announce the appointment of Ray Philips to the role of Chairman of Senior Selection & Discipline Panel. Ray is noted for his tough uncompromising fighting spirit and brings a level of skill, passion and a business like approach. Having Ray in this role will eliminate self interest and bring a refreshing honesty around the selection process and improve the development of our Young players.

Ray played a leading role in last years U/17 flag and his rapport with many young players will make a difference around the club.
