FTGDCA won the toss and sent DVCA in to bat on a seaming wicket at Gordon Barnard Reserve. DVCA made 4/156 after 45 overs. Zach took the new ball finishing with 1/18 off 6 overs and Dishan was the pick of the spinners taking 1/10 off his 6 overs with 3 maidens. In reply, FTGDCA made the runs in the 41st over. 

Top scorer and man-of-the-match Anthony Brolic (Lysterfield) made 82*, Zach made 20 batting at 3 and Alistair made a run a ball 17 in the later stages.   

Nick Jankovskis played in the 2nd FTGDCA Under 16 team but unfortunately lost their GF to a strong Gisborne & District CA team.
