The 2nd XI got the club underway with a win over Upper Gully, Adrian Zandt was the star performer with 66 runs and 1/8 from his 9 overs. Ben Morello also took 3/37 in the same game. Simon Grasser took 5/39 in the 1st XI's narrow defeat at the hands of Upper Gully, Rhys Marget made 34 and was the last wicket to fall. Young guns Josh Wylde 40 & Dylan Wylde 42* dominated in the 6ths loss but showed plenty of talent and will be popular selecions for the dreamteam. The 5ths were pumped, having only 9 players didn't help, Dale Roper scored 41 and took 2 catches behind the pegs. The 5ths have the Sunday fixture this week and pick-up Daniel Adams and Simon Wilkinson, 2 handy inclusions.
This week the 2 day fixtures start and it's a 1pm kickoff for all games. Don't forget the 5ths play SUNDAY not Saturday.
