The 1st XI scrapped home against the old foe in Wilba's 100th game in the 1's, aggressive batting from Travis Mulder 40 and a solid 36* from Josh Gregory, together they put on 60 which helped the boys chase 181 from their 45.  Josh Phillips hit 23, Jarrod Butcher 22 and Braet Adams 21.  In the bowling department Travis again snared best bowling with 2/24, Simon Grasser 2/27 and Adam Wild 2/33.  The final 4 appears to be decided now, with Auravale again losing and now 2 games outside the top 4, our guys maintain a 10 point lead with 4 games to go.

The 2's won their 8th toss in a row with their 3rd captain of the season and batted.  Mark Dalton again knocked out a 52 and Corne Mostert top scored with 56, Jason Buljubasic also put on 30 at the end of the innings.  Special mention to Adam Metherell who caressed 12 from 5 balls at the end to take the total to 189.  Ian Jongen is clearly the best bowler in Divvy 3, he picked up 2/14 this week, but was often too good.  Part-timer Simon Taylor picked up 2 wickets in his first over in his magical spell of 6 overs 5/5, and put an end to any hopes Monbulk had of a win.  Simon also picked up the final run-out wicket to dismiss Monbulk for just 49.

The 3's won a high scoring match at Upper Gully #3 oval.  Mitch Gregory was outstanding by all accounts with 100, Aaron Bailey was great with 63 and Luke Perryman was there at the end with 44*.  Jarrod Thorp made his return with 27, and Ryan Lepore continued his good form with 28.  The 3's piled on 8/308 from their 45 overs.  In reply Upper Gully scored freely but lost wickets to Jarrod Thorp 3/30 and Daine Vernon 2/41 and Ryan Lepore 2/57 and their way to 289.

The 4's restricted St Johns to 9/150 on a very fast bottom oval. Jack Milne has made a staggering comeback taking 4/38 this game and 3/37 last game, he's almost leading wicket taker now in the 4's.  Greg Crook also performed well with 3/31.  In reply the 4's smashed over 150 in 28 overs.  Rob Howes scored 49 whilst Peter Webb 21 and Ryan Metherell 21 got starts.'

Simon Taylor was excited to move to the top of the Dream Team players ladder with his 5/5 this round, he's now got a 10 point lead over 'all or nothing' Ash Thompson.  Mitch Gregory was clear leader this round with his ton + bonus points and 2 catches.  Rhys Marget's team "Falcon Unreal" still leads the ladder, but it was "Bomber" Barry Wild who picked the best team.

Here's the team that Bomber picked:

Bailey, Aaron
Dalton, Mark
Gregory, Joshua
Gregory, Mitchell
Hettiarachchige, Sampath
Lepore, Ryan
