Round 3 Team of the week

Here's the team after the 2 dayer got shortened to a 1 day match.

Pete Dunlop- The 1st XI skipper leading by example once again at the top of the order, accumulating a very cheeky 69 to chase down Eildon Park's 4/225 but ultimately fell short.

Rhys Marget- Potentially another vote or two polled in his own award with another blistering 46 to get the 3s off to another flyer in what was a modest target of 137 and was reached comfortably. Could be leading the RM Medal.

Brett Morrison- “Two Sons” Morrison finds himself at first drop this week after disposing the bloods of Olinda for a quick fire 39 which proved vital after the 2s had an Australian like middle order collapse and just scraped through for the dub.

Andrew Potts- First game back for the 3s captain after an indoor umpiring stint across the ditch was a successful one as he scored 35 to keep his recent one day record intact and more importantly kept the side undefeated.

Adam Wylde- The Beamers skipper along with Foxy helped the 2s scrape over the line after watching his fellow middle compatriots fall like flies he finished on a well compiled 34*

Spencer Stuckey- More known for his ability with stick in hand, Spence makes the side this week for taking his second ever hat trick and figures of 4/11. A pretty handy player to have at 6 as well in this week's team!

Trav Mulder- Coming in at 6/97, the old fox wound back the clock whipping his way to 32 not out along with Ads putting on an unbeaten 68 run partnership.

Daine Vernon- 2/36 from 8 this week from the Captain-Coach. Although if it weren’t for a controversial decision and a few wides his figures would make for better reading but nonetheless kept the opposition tied down at the death.

Bailey Deckert- The young express pace of Bdog Slim proved too difficult for the Olinda batsmen with another impressive perform with figures of 3/15 which will certainly catch the eye of selectors.

Greg Crook- With once again another impressive half century, this time finishing on 55, the 4s skipper is suddenly becoming an all rounder. However, he was unable to drag his side across the line falling 5 runs short.

Drew Withers- “Fit Bit” finally got on the board for season 2018/19 taking his first wickets after a 30 wicket season last year, finishing with 2/18 off his 8 helping keep the bloods to 7/167.
