The Knox Gardens Cricket Club is pleased to announce the introduction of Knox Gardens Futures Academy

Daine Vernon has been appointed as head of the Futures academy. Daine has extensive experience coaching junior players and has been a highly successful coach of our Under 16/17's for many seasons

The program aims to develop the transition of players into senior cricket and in particular our first XI

In a significant coup for our club, Australian Indoor Cricket Coach Ross Gregory will work with the academy through out season 2016/17.

Senior Coach Shannon Small (Batting) and Adam Wild (Bowling) will work with players through out the season.

President Aaron Bailey, who is the Eastern Region Development manager for AFL Victoria, will manage player development, with a specific focus on off field development.

The program will see our talented young players receive specialist coaching in their disciplines, which will include exposure to high performance coaching and District Cricket.

We will announce our first academy squad in the upcoming months
