Congratulations to Zach Flintoff who represented the F.T.G.D.C.A in the Bendigo Country Week in late January. Zach is a very exciting young talent who has performed well with bat and ball in our 1st XI this season and captaining the club’s U/17 side.
During the tournament Zach was one of the side’s best bowlers, often coming into the attack at key moments and picking up some very handy wickets of quality opposition.
Zach’s best bowling was against Murray Valley when he took 2/19, and whilst he was underutilised with the bat he played some big shots when required.
