ANNOUNCING a MASSIVE Coup for Knox Gardens Sport, The Hawthorn Football Club will be having a full training session at Knox Gardens Reserve on Friday 9 January 2009 starting at 8:30 am going through to 10:30am followed by a FREE football clinic for kids.

This is part of the Hawthorn Football Club Community Engagement Program. They pick out two venues during January each to give the local community an opportunity to see first hand an AFL training session. The full player list will be training. Last year at Pakenham they had 5000 kids and adults turn up. Please pass this Email onto every person on your Email list so that we can strongly promote the day and get the BIGGEST ever crowd ever assembled at Knox Gardens Reserve.

Anyone you know with kids should get the opportunity to come along and if you know any Footy fans then spread the word , particularly to HAWKS supporters There will be a BBQ Breakfast available, Real Coffee, Milk shakes, Popcorn, Plus the opportunity to get up close to last years Premiership Team.

The Knox Gardens Cricket Club will host the Day and we will be well supported by both Football clubs and Auskick. This is a TEAM effort. We also want to thank the Knox Council for not only giving us the Best ground in the Outer East but also supporting our clubs and helping make this happen. We will require volunteers on Thursday night from 6.30 pm to clean clubrooms, ground surrounds and prepare areas for Traffic management. We require volunteers on Friday morning to help with BBQ, Canteen, Car park and people management.

All clubs will also be promoting their Junior sig up programs so we need volunteers to help promote these opportunities. If you can help from 7.30 am through to lunchtime it will greatly appreciated. Please contact me by return Email to let us know what you can do, OR just spread the word and lets get a BIG DAY.

Cheers
