In early November the club is running the first ever FORD BACKYARD CRICKET CHALLENGE. The event will be on Sunday 9th November at Knox Gardens Reserve from 10am.
We want to get 200 Backyard Cricket Teams
We are looking for - family vs. family; neighbour vs. neighbour, street vs. street
As a family in our club we want you to enter a team of 6 players. (max. of 4 males and a min. of 2 females) open age, suitable for all!!
The game is 6x6 ball overs each, rules such as can’t be out 1st ball, one bounce one hand, no LBW. It costs $50 for a team and you play a minimum of 3 games. The overall winner on the day wins $250 plus the chance to progress to a =State final on the MCG in late January and even to fly to the National final at The Gabba on February 13th.
